Leah Slessor

Hiya! 

My name is Leah. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse who has been qualified for three years in November. 

I previously worked for Buchan Veterinary Clinics and joined the Mintlaw team in the beginning of June. 

Outside of work, I play for the Fraserburgh Rugby Club twice a week. I also go to the gym and really enjoy paddle boarding. I love spending time with my partner, friends and family, and for the next while, I will be planning a wedding. 

I enjoy a mixture of things in my job. I enjoy consulting, and I enjoy having op days too. However, my main point of interest is emergency care. I am currently in the middle of the Vets Now Emergency and Critical Care Certificate, with the hope of sitting the exam this year. 

Of course, I have to mention my pets, I have two furbabies (cats) at home, Clay and Cole. These boys enjoy lots of cuddles and food, and enjoy wrestling with each other for a bit of fun!
